STAH – Small towns after hours program
Did you know that the STAH (Small Town After Hours) program allows you to access a doctor at ED even when the usual doctor is away? You don’t have to travel to the next town for medical care out of business hours if your usual doctor is not available. Funded by HealthWISE and the HNECC PHN.
The STAH program is a phone service which links registered nurses in remote local health districts, where a local GP is temporarily unavailable, to a GP in a larger centre who can provide over the telephone advice.
