How can a dietitian help?​

A HealthWISE Dietitian understands how your body works and how food and drink help nourish both healthy people and those with medical conditions that are affected by or treated with nutrition.

Speak with your GP about a referral to HealthWISE or contact your local dietitian to book a private appointment. Call to make an appointment, or fill out our contact form below. If you would prefer to see a dietitian from the comfort of your home or workplace, we provide telehealth appointments via videolink or phone.

Our standard consultation fee is 

NSW $110 per session.

We also provide free services under funded programs, call us to find out whether you are eligible for these services

You may be eligible for a Medicare or Private Health Insurance rebate.

Payment can be made via EFTPOS (all credit and debit cards accepted). No cash or cheque payments will be accepted.

HealthWISE is not a registered NDIS provider, however HealthWISE staff can provide services to individuals with approval for dietetic and nutrition support if they self-manage or have a plan manager to manage their NDIS plan funding.

Cooking with our dietitians

In this video series, our dietitians and their students demonstrate several easy, low budget dishes that you can cook at home to stay healthy. These include ways you can sneak vegetables into treats for your children, and how to fulfill your afternoon snack cravings without going overboard.
